Performances by the music makers
With their remarkable enthusiasm and energy, the Music Makers are becoming well known within The Illawarra. They attend weekly rehearsals and have been invited to perform at many different functions.
2013 fundraising concert for kiama boy, dexter
The Music Makers performed at a fundraising concert in August 2013, at the Wollongong Town Hall. Proceeds were donated to two year old Dexter, who has cerebral palsy and has fought and beaten liver cancer. The Music Makers were a highlight of the concert.
2013 Eisteddfod at the Illawarra performing arts centre
The Music Makers performed at The Wollongong Eisteddfod.. Section 382. They were fantastic!
Kiama Relay for life - 2013
The Music Makers were invited to perform at the 2013 Kiama Relay for Life. Their energy and enthusiasm helped the relayers as they walked laps around the oval.
2013 Creative Performance Evening
2013 was the fourth year of production for the Music Makers. The Performance Evenings are fundraisers for THE DISABILITY TRUST’S SPORT AND RECREATIONAL SERVICES. 2013's performance was on Friday 24th May 2013, at The Shellharbour Club.
Tickets were $20 Adults, $10 (Children under 12 only). Over $18000 was raised at this event! The night created a great opportunity to come together and celebrate the skills of those with a disability in our community with the support of some great mainstream acts. This is the 4th year Melissa has run the show with the support of her family and friends. The event has raised over $40,000 in this time. |
The Music Makers had a fantastic time and really shone on stage.
Making costumes takes a lot of time, but it is so worthwhile, seeing the performers looking fantastic and shining on stage! They are dedicated performers, rehearsing every week!

2012 Creative Performance Evening
The 2012 Creative Performance Evening was on FRIDAY 25th May, at The Shellharbour Club. Tickets were $15 and were available from Waves Restaurant Kiama, CCCHS, The Disability Trust or from Melissa.
In 2012, it was a new and improved show, better than ever! The show gave an opportunity for the Music Makers to shine like stars, at the same times as being entertained by professional performers, whilst raising money for The Disability Trust- Sport and Rec Services.
This amazing event raised over $10,000 for the Disability Trust.
